A few pictures from a Sunday afternoon in Turin central square, piazza Castello, the one with the Royal Palace on the North side.
Not a lot of people around, mostly families strolling idly with kids, slow time as the Spring sun is already becoming hot.

A young man with his simple puppet stand is trying to gather some people in front of it and begin his show.
His Naples accent matches the puppets and the easy plot, Pulcinella gets beaten but eventually gets his revenge against the one who was trying to take advantage of him.
The wooden clacking of the beating fills the lazy air and mixes with child laughing.
Some money flies into his hat at the front while he hopes for the next group of kids.

As usual the show is more interesting when viewed from the "backstage".
